Hey everyone!
2023 went by so quickly, it feels like it just started!
Thank you so much for being part of our lovely family and for supporting us, whether it’s by reading my shenanigans, playing our games, making art, or interacting with us and the rest of our community, your involvement fuels our passion to keep creating better experiences!
With that in mind, join us in reminiscing all that happened this year!
The year started off fairly smoothly.
Though, behind the scenes, we got busy working on a new brand identity.
Last year, we polled our Spiritfarer audience to ask them which spirit they found the best candidate for a new plushie.
Well, this poll was no mere gesture, your feedback influenced our decision! We went back to our partners at Fangamer and started working on our 2nd official plushie: Atul, which released in April, alongside a stationery set!
Both can be found on their website!
Then, in early June, as to prepare everyone for our next announcement we would be making, we unveiled our new brand.
While it was a long time coming, we’re super happy with how it turned out, and really meshes with how we see ourselves as a studio.

Very shortly after, Summer Game Fest rolled around, and it was time for us to make a big entry on the scene with our next title:
A 33-player cooperative action roguelike, where you play damned souls attempting to rebel against their fate, set to release in Early Access next year.
But that was not all, in their extended showcase, our CEO and our creative director got to play the game with the team at Xbox, and their fearless leader Phil Spencer.
Keeping up the hype, we had the pleasure to be invited by Microsoft for an interview in Köln, Germany at Gamescom 2023.
Our producer sat down and told the world a little bit more about what we had in stores for 33i.
After having left for a full year, Spiritfarer made its comeback to Gamepass in style, by getting added to their new service.
In October, we started gearing ourselves up to have people playing our game for the first time outside the walls of our studio, with our Closed Alpha playtest!
So many wonderful people showed up to play the game with us between November 10th and 12th, it was a blast finally showing people what our game was about!
We took a bit of a break to analyze all the data we collected during the Alpha.
Seems like a lot of people really enjoyed the game, we received a lot of fantastic feedback from everyone! To thank you for your contribution, we even made an infographic with all the data we managed to collect during the Closed Alpha. Click here to read through them!
As per usual, we published a list of all the games we loved to play this year.

We’re so close to 2024.
A lot has been happening behind the scenes that I still have yet to discuss, but know that next year is going to be pretty busy on our end! From 33 Immortals becoming more and more playable to its full Early Access launch, you should be hearing from us quite a bit in 2024!
