If you made a mistake by burning a shard or corrupting an ability.
If you’re on PC and you just now corrupted or burned a shard and closed the game immediately:
- 1. Go to C:\Users\ (YOUR USER) \AppData\LocalLow\Thunder Lotus Games\Sundered
- 2. Delete the SAVE_GAME.sav
- 3. Rename the SAVE_GAME_BACKUP.sav to SAVE_GAME.sav
Your save should have reverted one step in the past.
If this does not fix your issue, unfortunately, there is not much we can do. Sorry!

If you have lost some progress on your save file.
If you are playing on Xbox One or Windows Store, please reboot your device completely (you can even unplug it to be sure it is off) and come back.
The link between the Cloud saves and your device should be restored.
Moving forward, please make sure to close the game completely whenever you are done playing.
Going into sleep mode or constraining the game (by going back to the Xbox menu) can cause a disruption in the Cloud save service, which will make you lose all the progress you are making in your current session. Loading the save won’t be impacted, only the saving portion, meaning you’ll always go back to the same~ish point.
A good trick to make sure that the service is working is to attach the Achievement tracker on your screen to see it update whenever you are to receive an achievement.
