Hey everyone!
It is with my utmost pleasure that I present to you our newest addition to the team: Alison Auzias!
Hailing from Arles, France (here), she’s joining us as a Community Manager to create content, send communications and discuss with our lovely community on our various platforms!
Having a new pair of hands helping me out will be super helpful for us to have the time to create and fully immerse ourselves with our Community. We’re both really looking forward to all the shenanigans we have in store for you over the next couple of months for 33 Immortals. We hope to see you there!
To get to know her better, keep scrolling!
Thanks for reading, and welcome to the team Alison!

- Birthplace: Arles, France (it’s here)
- Role at Thunder Lotus: Community Manager
- Career story before Thunder Lotus: I’ve been doing marketing forever, mainly in small scale companies. I started as a marketing intern in a small indie games studio in Montreal 14 years ago, then changed industries and worked in IT for a while, then back to games, and back to IT again, always as a Marketing/Community Manager. After 7 years in the same company, I decided to quit to go back to my first love which has always been the indie games industry (that’s the reason why I immigrated to Montreal and never left after all!). I worked for almost two years for a brand new indie studio where I built everything from scratch, then the Thunder Lotus opportunity showed itself and I knew I had to grab it. I’m very very grateful to be part of the team! 🙂
- Favorite games?:
- Undertale: the atmosphere, the MUSIC, the monsters ._. , everything. And no, I didn’t do the Genocide run and never will. I can’t, sorry. I watched it on Youtube, and I cried.
- Final Fantasy IX: oh, the nostalgia. It was the very first game I played on my own when I was a kid, without my brother showing me how to play. I discovered everything on my own and I hold these memories very close to my heart.
- Chrono Cross: for some reason, I played it before Chrono Trigger, and instantly fell in love with it and its music.
- Stardew Valley: it heals anxiety.
- Mass Effect 2: FemShep forever + the connection you build with your crew is unforgettable.
- The Last of Us: it brings me to tears every time.
- Biggest idols/references? When I grow up, I wanna be Ted Lasso.
- Favorite food? Gotta entertain the French stereotype: Cheese, the stinky ones 🧀 Otherwise it’s a tie between Thai and Mexican food.
- Favorite movies/tv shows?
- Shows: Kaamelott, Better Call Saul (it’s better than Breaking Bad and that’s a hill I will die on), feel good shows like The Good Place, Schitt’s Creek, Ted Lasso and the like.
- Movies: Good Will Hunting, Lost in Translation, The 5th Element.
- Favorite color? Pink and purple, sorry I can’t pick one.
- Favorite animal? Cats. Big ones, small ones, all the cats.
- If you could have a superpower, what would it be? I love History and I’m fascinated by how people used to live ages ago, as well as curious how our planet will look like 1000 years from now, so I’d say time travelling but I’m not sure I could manage the responsibilities that come with it >.<
- How soon is now? Depends on the mood. Wise Mexican friends introduced me to the concept of “ahorita” and I’ve been living by it since then.
- Have you ever seen a ghost? Yes, three of them passed through the walls of my bedroom when I was a kid. To that day I’m still convinced that they were real.
- What is your favorite line from a book? I love this one: “A pale blue dot” in Pale Blue Dot by Carl Sagan.
