Join Thunder Lotus (33 Immortals, Spiritfarer), a studio composed of passionate and experienced individuals, in their quest to create and publish electrifying games!
As a Community Manager, you will develop and cultivate a positive and engaging public voice suited to Thunder Lotus and our games. This is a 12-month contract, with the possibility of renewal if necessary.
In your day to day, as a Community Manager, you will:
- Create informative and engaging video, visual and written content for social media; write articles and newsletters about our studio; and publish it all on the appropriate digital platforms.
- Participate in discussions within our community on social networks, fueling dialogue and amplifying the content shared by the community, with the goal of creating engagement around our products and of improving our company’s reputation.
- Initiate and participate in dialogues with key partners and potential influencers, with the goal of building and solidifying our relationships and reputation with them and their communities.
- Survey, receive and analyze communications and sentiments expressed by the community relating to our products or our company, and share your findings and summaries with relevant internal teams.
- Optimize our investments of time/money across the various social networks according to their relevance to our communities and products, with the goal of growing and improving our community. You will propose investments in new networks when relevant, and design tests to validate their potential.
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal projects involving individual members of the community (e.g. play testing). You will support the Marketing team at trade shows by presenting our products to potential new customers.
- Collaborate with your marketing teammates: with the Senior Marketing Manager, to better communicate their key messaging to the community; with the Community Manager, to optimize your shared responsibilities; with the Technical Customer Service Specialist, to support their customer support mission; and with the Marketing Artist, to ensure the creation of relevant and quality content.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
- College-level degree in Communication, Marketing, or business (preferred)
- A love for video games and knowledge of its popular influencers
- Excellent writing and communication skills (including public speaking)
- A knack and a deep interest in communicating on social media
- 2 years of experience as a Community Manager
The ideal candidate fills the following requirements:
- Native-level English and French (required)
- Proficiency in a third language (preferred)
- Based in Montreal, as the work will require face-to-face time with the team
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
